I was so excited to see fish cheeks in the market today. Fish cheeks are so tender and they are normally not available for sale at the supermarket. Instead of making Bang Bang Shrimp that I had at the restaurants before , I think it would be a good idea to make Bang Bang Cheeks. Lightly batter fish in panko mix and then deep-fry in the oil. The dipping sauce is up to your creativity. I made three sauces in this recipe – Wasabi Mayo, Sriracha Mayo, and Sweet Chili Sauce, or you can simply just use lime or lemon juice. Serve it as an appetizer or amuse bouche. Your guests will have some cheeky smile.
